best fish and chips!! a bit pricey but definately worth it. been going there for about 10 years now, always good food!

We've been going there every Sunday for about two years and I've also been getting great fish and chips here for 14years on and off. I think its the best, the fish is always really nice and fresh. We like the burgers. It's probably one of the cheapest in the ponsonby/grey lynn area for what you get for your money!

I had crumbed Tarakihi and chips. The shop was quite empty and it got me worried why, when is rated so high. Anyway I ordered 2 peices of fish, which by the way is over priced.
When I tasted the fish, it was really bad - pre-frozen fish that you can get from the supermaket. It was dry and there was some kind of smell. The chips was not good at all also. I am amazed that this shop was rated so high by Metro in 2008.
I will never go there.

Was abit disapointed by my tiny piece of grilled fish...but was yummy all the same.

I had fish and chips from here last night and they were really good, the fish was fresh and the chips were cooked to perfection. I had battered fish but you can also get it grilled or crumbed. Not the cheapest fish and chips in Auckland but for $5.60 I was well fed.
