Been to the one a couple of blocks down at 17 Great North Road. Food was excellent but with table of 16 of us, the service was lacking.

Satya is the best Indian Restaurant in Auckland if not New Zealand. Satya has an extensive South Indian menu of cheap, delicious curries and dosas. Satya is conveniently located on K Rd in a simple, unpretentious but busy room. Satya’s dahl makhani is the best I have ever tasted and I have had many in India, England and New Zealand, the staff are efficient and friendly and you can BYO. Book ahead as it gets busy.
