Summary

This was my first experience with Toss and my initial reaction was ... what the? Fortunately I worked out how to order (with the help of some large signage) and came out with one of their house salads; the Expat. As the above photo illustrates the Expat is somewhat lacking in colour. Everybody knows a large part of the eating experience is visual so how come Toss have overlooked adding a little, I don't know, beetroot? tomato? The size also was a little small for a grown boy (my female companion ordered a much more substantial salad, the Nemo on wild rice, which I tried and loved). My salad was pretty decent and was definately good enough for me to be intrigued about Toss' other salads, I will be back, but I won't get the Expat.
